Make it easy to find Steam games, keep a personal shortlist, and see which titles are on sale. The goal was a small browser-based tool, without an account system or integration with a user's Steam wishlist.
The idea was simple: make these songs easy to browse and play, without asking anyone to create an account. The interesting part was getting playback, queues, and saved favorites to work together without making the app unnecessarily complicated.
Make a barcode scan useful at the shelf: find the product, explain its nutrition and additives, and highlight information relevant to the person scanning it—all without requiring an account signup first.
Collect electrical readings from an ESP32 at home and turn them into useful charts, date-range statistics, and consumption-based cost estimates without paying for additional infrastructure.
Make the connected-device information shown by my router accessible without repeating the same manual login and navigation. I wanted to retrieve device addresses and make router interactions programmable through the interface that was available.
Understand the socket lifecycle directly in C: create an endpoint, bind an address, establish a connection where needed, and exchange data between processes.
